The Paleomammalab represents a pioneering research collective comprised of accomplished Paleontologists who possess specialized expertise in the comprehensive exploration of Mesozoic and Cenozoic mammals, along with the meticulous reconstitution of their habitats and macroevolutionary trajectories.
In addiction to our scientific investigations, we ardently strive to democratize knowledge by actively engaging in numerous annual events. Our unwavering commitment lies in fostering an environment that is intentionaly designed to be inclusive, safe and conductive to enhanced learning and the vibrant exchange of ideas. Operating from our headquarters in Portugal, we have invaluable support from the project EXPL/CTA-PAL/0832/2021, generously provided by the Fundação da Ciência e Tecnologia.
Who are we??
Our team is composed of Ph.D. and M.Sc. students and post-doctoral researchers, all associated with the Faculty of Science and Technology at NOVA University of Lisbon. We study several Cenozoic mammals of the European continent and GM technique. We are always open to collaborations and divulgation of the scientific area.
